Its more costly than oil but its made from oil, gold prices rise and fall, but black gold just keeps on rising increase after increase. So what’s it called you are asking! The largest and biggest brand of printers Hewlett Packard have announced a price Increase on its Original HP LaserJet Printer Cartridges to come into effect on 1st January 2012. HP has stated it will increase their printer cartridge prices of its most popular Lines of cartridges in its Business class Laser Printers including HP Multifunction Printers, HP will Increase LaserJet by approximately 2% to 4%. But more significantly HP are to increase the over all list of cartridge prices on over twenty-seven select HP older toner laser cartridges ranging from 12% to 17%. Older legacy printer toner cartridges and consumable products used in “old Legacy” HP Printer Models Like the old ageing HP 4000 and 4100 LaserJet and in the HP Colour LaserJet 4600 models are to name but a good few more are inline for the big increase by HP.
Even though the increase announced will not involve HP inks, HP is raising the prices on selected consumables products like drums, fusers and HP maintenances kits. In accordance to HP, the price increases is only in reaction to international monetary conditions, which also includes currency volatility.
